Okay, it's been forever!

I know it has been forever since I have been on here, so here I go. We are trying to keep up Maite. She is really trying hard to walk but things just haven't come together yet. She has taken a couple of steps but nothing really big. She is about 22 pounds and eats all the time. She loves her greens. Green beans and peas are her favorite. Music really makes her shake her bum and rock her head. She had an accident in the hotel we were staying at in Baker City on the way home from WA. She was pulling the Kleenex out of the box while standing on her own, and she fell. Her ear was soooo black I thought it was going to fall off. It is still there and is now beautiful again. We are waiting for some good weather so she can be outside more. She is saying dada, mama, boo, daug, shhhh, ffffff, (which we hope are not the begining of some obvious words), and no. Andrew is waiting for school to be over so he can have some more time on his own. We are now raising 11 baby chicks along with our 5 chickens. Maite thinks they are a hoot. We bought a new car and sold my truck. We spent about half the amount of money gas going to WA this past two weeks then when we drive my truck. YEAH! WEll, that is all for now.

A New Year!

We are now back home from the vacation in WA. I think we back on routine but I am not sure. Maite is getting over being sick along with mom. She is pretty stuffed up, which does not help when she is trying to sleep. Maite is crawling like crazy and likes to climb, climb, and climb. She is walking behind her lion walker that she got for xmas and she is trying to stand up on her own. 'No, no' is something that she is really learning to understand and she listen very well. I hope that that will continue. She really doesn't have a favorite toy but still loves to be sang to. I hope this will continue also, even after she learns that mommy and daddy have terrible voices. She is saying momma, dada, boba, and other little babbles. The high pitch screeches are our favorites. Just kidding!

Seven Months

Maite is now seven months old and is constantly wearing a smile. She has been crawling for about a month now, and starting to pull herself up on to the couch and other furniture. She is still not sleeping through the night but lets us sleep for five or six hours before she wakes up. We have got a hold on the eczema. I just started using an Arbonne serum after just recently switching from AD ointment which worked wonders. The ointment just doesn't smell very good. It really kept the moisture in her skin though.
She had her first xmas with NV grandparents and enjoyed every minute of it. Today her and Andrew went to the NDOW relocation of the big horn sheep in Kings River. She was dressed in her new pink camo Columbia snowsuit that she got from the gparents. We are just waiting for school to be over so we can go see more family and friends in WA.

See my teeth!

Maite's teeth are coming up so fast. Her bouncy chair is now her personal jungle gym. Since she doesn't like to lay down anymore she sits up and turns around in it. Then she wiggles her way down to the floor. What a monkey. She still isn't crawling forward but she does crawl backwards. She can also spin her body around...all without crawling forward. Talent? I guess so. We weighed her today at Uncle Seba and Aunt Miss's house. The champ weighed in at 17 pounds even. What little person she is turning into.

Teeth

Today we noticed that Maite has two teeth poking up through her gums on the bottom. I think it happened so fast. She is doing really well. She has noticed that instead of trying to crawl everywhere she can just roll. We had a great time playing with the pumpkins for Halloween and dressing her up in Cousin Ari's cow outfit. We are planning on going to turkey bingo next weekend to win another turkey for Thanksgiving like we did last year.

Changing so much!

She is changing so much. She loves to look at herself in the mirror and just laugh. She loves to be sang to. She loves to hear her papa's voice. She loves to go outside with papa. She doesn't love things on her head. She loves to eat. She loves to stand up like a big girl. She loves to talk and giggle. She loves to listen to music. She is loved!!!
